Awards Night
I was well outside my comfort zone taking pictures for the Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations at their annual awards ceremony at the Wyeside theatre in Builth Wells.
People and flash - not a combination I feel good with, but I had after all volunteered! I chose this shot to show the importance of preparation - or lack of it. When this group photo was asked for I grabbed the other camera which had the wide angle on it, changed the flash and fired away. I couldn't get a decent exposure at all. It was only later that I realised that I had left a polarising filter on the lens! However Lightroom came to the rescue as usual.
