Champrosay

I went to a picnic at Alphonse and Julia Daudet's house in Champrosay (on the Seine near Ris-Orangis) today. Many of the academics working on Daudet whom I'd met at the Fontvieille conference in May were there. I really enjoyed seeing the Daudet summer house - it is a private home so it isn't often open for visits - and getting together with a very nice group of people.

P, K and J treated us to a delicious couscous dinner tonight. They'd had good days too in the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Jardin d'Acclimatation.
