Milkweed

We took an outing to the Fort River Refuge (Fish and Wildlife Service) in Hadley this afternoon, our second this week.  It has been greatly upgraded over the last two years, with the construction of an excellent wheelchair-accessible path that is beautifully laid out, with a circuit of over a mile . On Sunday there were quite a number of birds (though no photo-ops), but today virtually no birds at all.  Nonetheless it was a beautiful fall day and we had a very enjoyable walk.
