Grasses an Northern Lights

Wow, well after the storms, it's been a beautiful day.  It's been sunny all day, warm too and hardly a drop of wind :)

I've been working on the museum desk today and no surprises that it's been fairly quiet.  The fine day and everyone has been out and about.  Met mam for a lunchtime walk and it seemed everyone was eager to get out, and this continued work too :)  Me and Sammy enjoyed a walk to watch the sunset at Punds Voe in Scalloway.  This evening I walked up to see my sister Laura and family, I had to take advantage of the fine night :)

On my way up to Laura's, I was keeping my eyes open for the Northern Lights.  If it hadn't been for the storms yesterday, we would have had a great display.  As I was nearing the main road and street lights, there they came.  Shame I was a little close to the orange glow from the lights but managed to focus on this grasses in the verge.  I'll be out again before bed to check again :)  Taken on the Voxter Road, Cunningsburgh.
