Llandwynn
Had the chance of another longer day out today (thank you after school rehearsals!) so decided to go a bit further afield. I know that I have been trying to get to new places recently, but still feeling a bit low after the recent disappointments, wanted to go somewhere I knew and loved.
Llandwynn Island, Anglesey.
Llandwynn has it all, forests, a huge beautiful beach, ruined monasteries, Celtic and Christian crosses and two fabulous lighthouses, and you can see Snowdonia across the water. If you haven't been, you really must.
Such a glorious day today, so warm and not a cloud in the sky above Anglesey, although looking towards Snowdonia it was very cloudy and stormy looking.
Main pic is looking from the ruins through to the Celtic Cross with Snowdonia in the background, and the extra the Twr Mawr lighthouse.
