Pumpkins Galore

It is still drizzling and only 12 degrees. We had to drive to B-I-L's previous care home to pick some things that were left behind after Hubby got back from Vienna this afternoon. I wasn't enthused enough to take my camera with me which was silly as there are lots of photo opportunities in the area despite the wet weather. However, the iPhone came to the rescue. On the way back we stopped by one of the many pumpkins fields in the area. These were for picking for €1 each and you put the money in a little box taped to the sign. We pick 3. I don't know what variety they are so they may well end up as Jack-O-'lanterns. There are quite a few such fields where you can pick your own flowers or vegetables using the honour system. It is nice to know that good values still exist in this world.
