Shield bug..

.. I 'had' spiders today. *

I also had harvestmen spiders and Then Some.
They are weird things close- up aren't they?
All spotty legs (who knew?) and beady eyes.
They were all over the place once I'd 'got my eye in', so to speak.
Despite the abundance of spiders, which I had intended to blip there was, somehow, some light relief in the form of a shield bug.
They're pretty in their own way I feel. All sitting on the end of leaves attempting the blend-in (with some considerable success). I've blipped them before. As I'm approaching a couple of years of blipping, I find I've blipped most things before, even the foliage.
(There's a limit I'm finding, about what actually turns up in the garden from season to season. I don't think there's ever going to be a warthog, or very many dragonflies. Even cats are limited to the one belonging to Mrs Next Door But One - who used to belong to Mrs Next Door - but she left and the cat stayed).

However, there is ALWAYS something, even though it's been done before.
Nothing stays quite the same.  

Except the need to produce a meal every day.
