Road to Leysin, Memory Lane

Isn't it satisfying when you see part of your past from a completely different angle because you have a visitor with you. Norman Perryman ( http://www.normanperryman.com ) is an artist, and at the age of 82 he is still getting commisions to paint portraits and landscapes. Today we went in search of rocks and views that could be integrated into a painting for one of his ex pupils who wants a climbing scene, in Norman's special style. I was very happy to help, especially as he had lived in Leysin just before I arrived there in '78 so we knew a lot of the same people. What an interesting world we live in.
