Near Montgomery.

This is a shallow bit of the River Severn- it was from the left side of the river that the Prince of Wales- brave Llewelyn,  crossed to meet the king of England- Henry 111, not a good meeting , the King wanted money from the Welsh, and Llewelyn said No'!! they weren't friends!
Today however, we are all great friends, - to mark this occasion the river here is now much deeper!!!
