Abstract prickles

Today, for Abstract Thursday, I have played around on Picasa with a photo of thistles growing beside an old moss-covered dry-stone dyke.

This morning I made soup from leftovers in the veggie drawer of the fridge. It dawned on me that nearly everything, apart from the onion and stock, began with the letter C: cauliflower, courgette and cabbage, so for good measure I chucked in some chilli flakes, cumin and coriander. It maybe sounds disgusting, but it was very tasty, my C soup!

It's a lovely day, sunny and not too cold, which is a turn up for the books after the recent deterioration. Every decent day is a bonus :-)
