Crispy Fingers

Whilst Girl and Wife went off swimming Boy and I wandered round some local shops. Boy was very excited to look at lots of skateboards in one of them. He was even more excited to get a free skateboard magazine on the way out. He clutched to it as though his life depended on it until he fell asleep on the way to a party.

We met Girl and Wife at the party where a lovely party lunch was had in the sun followed by the obligatory cake and passing of the parcel. All the little ones seemed to start to fray at the end of the party but soon pulled it together for goodbyes and party bags.

We then headed out into the windy street for a charge in the park before goiing back home so Boy could study his mag in closer detail, grinning from ear to ear as he did.

At dinner Girl asked boy if he wants to be a skateboarder when he is older. He confirmed he did. She then announced that she was going to be a biker, with a pink bike called Molly.
