Tree fruit

I found this tree with strange fruits, or flowers, outside a dr's office this afternoon when I was walking my dog. I've no idea what it is.

The extras, all from my walk, are: 'paper' crane in the Hope Garden; butterfly in the car park (deceased); and creek from a bridge.
