Returned

It's back - well IT's not back, but a brand new sparkly one is.

B took the ring back to the jeweller in Glasgow today and they replaced it without any problems. Which is great, but also a little sad as it's now no longer the original ring.

I got a lecture from B though because he said he was affronted by how dirty the ring was when he took it back. I'd not thought it was all that dirty, but between a combination of seeing macro shots the other day and seeing a brand new one I can see that it was pretty grubby. I'll need to more careful with this one!
