Ashwick Court

Spending a couple of days in Somerset with our friends from Cornwall. 

C's great, great grandfather was a miner near here, before moving toWales, and he, that is C, was interested to see if he could find out anything about the family. We visited Ashwick on the off chance that the parish records might be available but the church was locked (sign of the times), however, we did find three family graves dating back some 200 years, so he was happy.

In the meantime I leaned over the churchyard wall and spotted this pretty bridge in the grounds of a beautiful old manor house so I stole a blip!
