Almost Finished!

The last time I photographed the new Millennium Tower being built in downtown Boston was back on July 11th, when they were about two thirds done.  Now they have had the "topping out" ceremony, indicating that all of the floors are now in place, and just the rooftop mechanicals are left to construct.

The second photo in this collage shows two very brave guys at the very top of the building, right at the very edge, maneuvering a large steel column into place that has been hoisted up to their lofty heights by a crane.  I don't envy them their job!

In town for a few days -- mainly so we can attend the wedding of my godson on Friday in Rhode Island (it's closer to get there from here than from Connecticut!)
