Fallen chestnuts

After a morning of painting and decorating, we laboured in the garden clearing away the hundreds of fallen chestnuts.  Many went to the dump, much to the surprise of the warden "you could sell those" he said (in French, bien sur).  Some we kept, of course, they will roast well.
