Starting work early morning might make you think there is little wildlife to be seen around, perhaps the odd fox, but no more than that?

What has constantly surprised me is how busy it is with wildlife, perhaps something to do with the street lighting - who knows, but it is nice to hear :-)

I certainly hear and see birds (noticeably blackbirds) out and about, and although it is not on the same level as during the day, they are noticeable, moths and on the odd occasion snails, like this one which was making its way over a wall - which judging by the trail it left - it succeeded :-)
