The Blue Jump

The run of fine autumn weather ended abruptly overnight, as we woke up to a day of overcast cloud, turning to persistent rain around 4.

One bright spot in an otherwise grey day was this jump, one of several (though the only one so brightly painted) in a field just off the B9001 Inverurie - Rothienorman road north of Daviot.

From the size, we think the jumps must be for dogs, rather than horses or ponies.
