Keeping busy

I managed to get out of the house this morning and head to the lab to count pollen grains. I've given up with individually counting them and have instead decided to split each slide into 12 sections, labelling each one between 0 and 5 depending on the pollen present. I can then estimate numbers, which is much less accurate but is far quicker and more tolerable!

I've spent the rest of the day in the house doing very little productive. I'm hoping that canoe's egm tomorrow will cheer me up a bit but, until then, I'll just have to cope.
