Yet another Woodcraft Folk camp. This time though the kids had all the say, more or less. After the last one they said they wanted more freedom to choose what they do, so this time ten of them were taken to Epping Forest . There they were given tents to pitch in a location of their choosing, a box of food ingredients to do with as they saw fit and some newspaper and matches for a fire. A selection of pots and pans were on offer as was adult intervention if really necessary.
The only real advice was to stress the need to collect firewood while it was still light and get more than they thought they would need.
