The Ringneck Dove.

Also known as the Cape Turtle Dove or Half-Collared Dove.. Found in a variety of habitats, it's penetrating and rhythmic, three syllabled crooning is a familiar sound at any time of the year. This one is on a neighbour's bird table.  I was told it was a dove as I thought at first it was a pigeon.
