Standing tall

After work trip to the hairdressers and I parked near one of the entrances to the Cathedral. A tall proud gateway standing tall and proud over this corner of the town. After patches of dull, dreary and rainy weather the sun was now so bright and low that I have had to ‘black & white’ the photo to rescue it from a bleached out colour! It’s a shame because you then can’t see the perfect blue sky!! Still warm and sunny and very un-October like … long may the bright weather continue!!
