The Southern Ocean

Today we embarked upon our trip to Melbourne via the Princes Highway. We were up early and ready to leave the South Yorke Peninsula by 7:45 am. Why is it that on holiday there is no time to rest!!

We said goodbye to our hosts and their characterful farm house. This is speak for dilapidated farm house! Renovations are needed but I have a feeling will never get done. We called on a neighbour of theirs last night so needed to know where to turn off the outside light upon our return . We are then told to be very careful as the switch was just above two exposed live wires of the old switch!!

If the brown snakes didn't get you , or the Hunstman spider, then wiring would!!

So we arrived at Kingston SE at 3:30 after a very good run and a few stops here and there. This is shot of the sea which is directly opposite out Motel. It's amazing to think there is not a lot between this and Antartica.

Electrical fittings much better in present establishment!!
