AUSTRALIA ZOO!

Today we got to visit the Australia Zoo and see tons of exotic animals! It was awesome getting to hold a koala and feed a kangaroo! One thing I noticed about the Australian zoo versus American ones is the enclosures. While Australia zoo didn't have as many animals, many had very large and easy to view in enclosures. In American ones I feel that it's a lot less personal because enclosures are very far away and you rarely get to hold or pet an animal except in a petting zoo. The staff in Australia really wanted to teach you about the wildlife and how to help efforts in preserving and saving animals.
