Happy birthday Mama

Today was Nikki's birthday.  Since we didn't see each other at all last night (I ended up sleeping with the wee man and Nikki slept with the little lady), we celebrated by having a lazy morning, laced with lots of coffee.  That was followed up by a lazy brunch and a lazy wander around San Diego zoo.

We returned home, fed and bathed the kids before starting the bedtime rituals.  Rituals that lasted 90 minutes.  For whatever reason, the wee man just refuses to fall asleep without me or Nikki laying next to him.

Come and rescue us Grandma!
