The bridge to Old Sarum . Started off as an Iron Age Hillfort around 400BC, then a Royal Castle built by William the Conqueror in 1070. The first Salisbury cathedral was built there in 1092. Still see the outline of it.
Now one of the best places for dog walking in the county, with the added bonus of views all around for the owners.
