playing fields

So brilliant to see the girls today! Had a wee engagement announcement party with them tonight after playing down at dad's garden with them and the dogs all afternoon. Pure class!

After telling them our news, Elizabeth asked how Pierre had popped the question. I told her the story and then she asked me to tell her it all again including how he'd asked me in French! She then proceeded to draw out an 'arbre généalogique' starting with Pierre's and my parents, right down to our 4(!!!) children! Haha :)
