Our little visitor

Everyone...this is Louie! He is staying with us for 10 days whilst his family is away in Turkey on holiday. Theres been lots of hissing and spitting off Sophie, but she actually sat in the same room as him tonight, so I feel we are making progress albeit slowly!! I'm hoping by the time he goes home they may actually become friends. If anyone has any advice on keeping the peace between a dog (who is a little ball of joy and only 10 months old) and a cat (who is s dog hater and nearly 14 years old) I'd be ever so grateful.
