Recipes

A full day with physio at 12 in the centre of the city (magnetic therapy) and again at 6pm near our house. In between I had an eye test at 3pm and new glasses are ordered. I was happy to hear that there's just a little change in my short sight vision, but enough to make me want to hold things away to read them more easily....or put my current glasses on my head and bring them in to almost touch my nose! Fingers crossed they'll be ready for Cairo.

Dinner tonight was a firm favourite of ours: chicken casserole with apples and cider. It's from a Mark & Spencer family casserole recipe book, given to Bb by his mum 26 years ago (gulp!), and we've used it for many recipes over the years. My blip shows just some of the bits and bobs which are kept inside the cover, collected from our stays in different places.

The casserole was very tasty even if I say so myself, served with broccoli, and enough for lunch tomorrow too!
