Rome, the eternal city!

I know I've been absent for quite a while but I had quite a lot going on in my life which was distracting me from Blip.
Anyway, I thought it's about time I shared my news.
After 17 years without contact my old best friend of 15 years got in touch out the blue, and after a whirlwind romance of just 10 weeks he proposed to me in Rome!! I'm now engaged to be married, hopefully next year.
I'm so excited and so happy. It will involve a change in job and a house move, but made all the sweeter as he lives in the Lake District, my favourite part of the country. He also has his own company producing gin as an added bonus, a gorgeous daughter and a choccy lab!!!
