Mud painting scroll

After worrying that nobody would turn up for my mud painting workshop in the Macrobert Arts centre this morning- rainy Tuesday morning 10am- I was delighted to see so many folk, and even more thrilled to see the gusto with which they all threw themselves into painting.

This scroll is a collaborative effort . As for the paintings they were many and varied and many surprised themsleves with their own creativity.


As one woman said:" Mud frees you up to experiment- it was great to be able to throw it around."
One mud painting created a great deal of hilarity (see extra photo) - a cartoon depicting Cameron and..er...a pig.
