Crying

Today, we went to see the Tyne-Cot Cemetry and the Menin Gate on route to Bruges. It was a strange way to celebrate B's birthday but it made sense to us.
It was a very moving day - the weather was glorious for the visits. None of us cried but we were all close to it and we avoided each other to make sure we didn't set each other off! The afternoon ended with a cup of tea in Ypres - what a beautiful town.
Then it was off to Bruges to celebrate. All of us were pretty tired. We managed to walk as far as the bar opposite the hotel! It was a lovely evening to sit out.
