Breakfast Dive

I was looking out over our flooded back yard this morning and noticed big splashes under the garden arbor. Yesterday I saw V's in the warer in the back yard made by larger fish. So this morning I expected to see the V again but instead this hawk popped out of the water. He was hunting what was left of the sunflowers for gold finches and I think he had one but it escaped in the water fight! You never know what Mother Nature will send your way! I was happy to see the sun shine today for a while!
