The Bishops' Palace, Cashel, County Tipperary

It seems that wherever you go in small Irish towns you can find these beautiful buildings that have fallen into disrepair. This one was firstly the Bishops' Palace, later an hotel, JFK stayed here as a boy and now it has been bought to develop into an hotel again.

Another busy day with my sister and I visiting our paternal grandparents' grave, mooching around Cashel, meeting more distant relatives and then dinner at the house of our cousin Leslie and his wife Joyce. Then back to our comfy hotel!!!
