Red-cowled Cardinal
I apologize because this is a busy week for me, few time to search for a good capture of the day. This is a backblip from yesterday bike ride in our Park of the City.
This is an endemic species of the northeast side of Brazil, so it is also called "Cardinal of the Northeast". It is one of the most common species of "Caatinga", a very dry (and poor) region. In the last 100 years, it was brought to here, in the very central side of the country, and to the Southeast. I am very happy because it was the first time I captured it!
