Off to Corrour

My friend Amy is currently working at Corrour Station House. Corrour is the most isolated train station in the UK, with no proper road access (except a track). A group of us decided to visit her for the weekend to say hello and go exploring.

I spent the first part of my day in a lab, then finished packing before getting my first of three trains. The whole journey takes 6 and a half hours (bus from St Andrews to Leuchars, train from Leuchars to Edinburgh, train from Edinburgh to Glasgow, train from Glasgow to Corrour) and we were exhausted by the time we got to Corrour at 9.20pm! Thankfully we had a warm welcome and, after a quick tour of the building, talked for the rest of the night before going to bed!
