Chocolate lily

I'm still here – just been on holiday (Tasmania) for two weeks. I decided to blip once I was back, which is just as well, as we had no mobile coverage and no wifi most of the time. It's really nice to be uncontactable for a while though (reminiscent of how life used to be, in those days before mobile phones and the internet)... until you have to go through the back log of hundreds of emails when you get home...

So, I haven't even started going though my Tassie photos yet, but I'll get to it soon and back blip. I had never been before (unforgivable – it's so close!) but will definitely go back – once I've ticked the Northern Territory off my to-do list, that is.

We got back on Saturday morning and arrived to full-blown Summer, two months early! After a chilly and quite wet Tassie (with snow!!), Melbourne is sweating through the hottest start to October ever and for the very first time (since moving here anyway), there will be a total fire ban on my birthday! (tomorrow)

Spotted this chocolate lily in my garden today.
