Some canal side scenery is beautiful because it's unspoilt countryside. Some is striking in its industrial heritage and some is beautifully grim.

Cold today - complete change to yesterday. Lots of miles and locks covered, with a short foray off the boat at Stone where there was the unexpected pleasure of stumbling across an excellent farmers market.
