Florence Hill view

Well what a night! The howling gales that made the sea so amazing yesterday carried on through the night. Not quite as much fun in the pitch black in a strange house. Power went off numerous times so that eventually I headed to bed. The noise was phenomenal! Something was banging like bonkers outside, the roof was being given a really good tug and the veranda was screeching and scraping under the force of the wind. Needless to say I didn't sleep very well!!

Power was out still this morning when I left so I did what cleaning I could without power and headed home. Seriously (as this shot shows) the weather couldn't have been more different!

I arrived home via an expensive stop in Mitre 10 for a hose pipe and blender (ended up with a Nutri-bullet thing with processor. ) nipped into Harvey Norman and had a play with a wide angle lense and a Canon 5d! Tempting but I resisted!
