Wild Flowers

We are up in the nineties again! Thank God the air conditioning kicked in yesterday. Still, the swamp was swampy, and when I got home I found myself soaked to the skin. Then I almost froze, and had to take a shower to warm up.

Disappointed to find that my favorite milkweed spot (and monarch butterfly habitat) at Belle Isle has been mowed!!! And my second favorite milkweed patch is all dried out and yellow. But the wildflowers are still glorious.

Later on we went to the driving range at Saugus - almost empty because sensible people don't do anything in this weather.
