Mono Monday - Fun

Only a Blipper would find it fun to get up early and go down to the waterways looking for birds to photograph.

All I found today were a couple of pukeko having fun with a stem that one pulled out of the mud. They took it down to the water and swished it around in the water for a while, (see the extra - not in mono) then satisfied it was properly clean,  the male walked around with it in his beak, the ends trailing behind and getting thoroughly muddy again.

Bird behaviour never fails to intrigue and entertain me.

I seldom blip in mono as I love colour, but this one seemed to lend itself to black and white.
