Bigger Than Spotted Horse

Spotted Horse (yesterday's blip) was a bit quiet for our liking so we moved on to Aladdin.
A quaint little settlement but I'm not sure you take can a cowboy seriously when he's eating an ice block?

This afternoon we called at Deadwood Gulch. A thriving mining town in the 1830's, it is also where Wild Bill Hickok was shot in 1876.
It is now a thriving tourist and gambling centre with lots of interesting old buildings, and no doubt a few Wild Bills still (see extra).

For the last two nights of our road trip we are staying at Hill City in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
