Spurn Point

A weekend at Flamborough and a drive down to Spurn Point. It was our first time to see this remarkable spit in the mouth of the Humber. Some of the ruined sea defences are just amazing. I chose this rather battered groyne and a general view in extras . I also added  an evening shot at Flamborough Head for the diary record.

A lot of serious twitchers on Spurn Point and I joined a crowd to glimpse a Pied Wheatear but no decent photo.

I am a little behind on posting because whilst I took my laptop with me I forgot the lead and the battery was flat !!
