Black Darter

Managed another visit to Castle Fraser today en route to the Muir of Dinnet National nature reserve. This Black Darter was very friendly and landed on my hand which was too close to focus and then climbed up my sleeve. On a sadder note noticed lots of damselflies in the water (see extra) Looks like the end of the season.
