A Sunday walk around ....

....... Sheffield Park in West Sussex.
It was such a lovely day, and October 4 th too , so I packed a frugal lunch and a flask and A and I went for a ride and ended
up here ( I was glad of my walking poles !! ) we had our lunch then walked around the park stopping on the way to get an
ice cream! The leaves are only just turning autumn colour
the lakes were full of activity, lots of ducks and fish and water
lilies . It was very still and warm as we walked lots of families
the children were enjoying running and attempting to climb trees. We met quite a bit of traffic hold - up's when we went out so we came back a different way, very pretty route, so suppose traffic hold- ups have a place sometimes??
