Lady in waiting.......

......... for the first runner to arrive at my marshalling station.  Volunteered to help with a local Triathlon.  They had some stamina.  Before noting down their numbers and providing water I helped with registration.  Meant I got to hold a lot of hands of some strapping men (but only to write their number on the back of the hands before they went off for the swim!)
High viz jacket, clipboard and a free bacon roll - what more could a girl want!
