Ollie and Bella

These two beautiful doggies out on their holidays again, taking in the late summer sun!! 'twill all be gone soon I fear.

I have noticed an abundance of Ladybirds recently, most of them indoors but quite a few outside too, which brought me nicely to this!

in splendid sun
dotted wings untouched
by frost to come;
bright
they flicker in light
and move no further
than the colour of today.
