Walking along the river bank and there on the other side was this young deer. He seemed oblivious to me, or at least realised I was not going to swim across the river and therefore posed no threat to him. He took a few more strides and started to nibble on an overhanging tree. I quickly changed lenses and went in for the shot. Then, along comes mister jogger and his dog. And off jogged the deer. Oh well.
