Geisha

I'm heartbroken to say that Geisha went to sleep for the last time safely and peacefully at the vet's last night. It was a terrible decision to make but blood tests revealed a chronic problem and she'd been yelping the last few nights in obvious distress.

We inherited her when my husband's mum passed away 3 years ago and feel privileged to have looked after such a beautiful, loyal dog. I remember my mother-in-law choosing her from the litter all those years ago and I carried the bundle of white fluff to the car.

Fortunately my dear friend hazelh is visiting this weekend with her husband and we will all be distracted by the Elbow concert at Jodrell Bank this evening. Here is her tribute to Geisha.
