Apple blossom time
A Sunday afternoon drive took us past orchards with rows and rows of trees in blossom. I was able to jump a ditch and get a closeup of a sprig. No bees in action which was a bit surprising.
Thankfully the wind that is blowing away the southern part of the island hasn't eventuated here. The apple industry is experiencing an upturn at the moment so hopefully the trees will soon be loaded with apples.
The extra shows the rows of trees on which the orchardist has staked his fortune.
